Privacy policy.

This policy explains how lokulAI handles access requests, hosted account flows, and local workspace data.

Information we collect

When you request access or sign in, lokulAI may collect account details such as your name, email address, platform preference, and the context you choose to share. The desktop workspace is designed to keep project files, local documents, conversations, memory, and runtime settings on your device unless you explicitly connect or submit information to a hosted service.

How we use information

We use submitted information to manage beta access, provide account authentication, support desktop update checks, respond to support requests, and improve product reliability. We do not use private local workspace content to train shared models.

Local workspace data

The lokulAI desktop app stores local workspace state on your machine, including settings, task state, memories, document indexes, and diagnostics that you choose to export. Local files and documents remain under your control and are not uploaded by default.

Optional services and integrations

If you connect cloud authentication, provider APIs, MCP servers, or other integrations, those services may receive the information required for the action you approve. Review each connected service's terms and privacy practices before enabling it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for hosted account and access-request data. Access-request records are retained for beta operations and support unless deletion is requested or retention is no longer necessary.

Your choices

You can avoid optional hosted features, disconnect integrations, delete local workspace data from your device, or contact us to request access-record updates or deletion.

Contact

For privacy requests, beta access updates, or account questions, contact lokulAI through the request access form.
